The opportunity
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a crucial liaison between our customers and our technical teams. Your role will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues that our customers encounter with production machinery. You have the chance to work onsite collaborating directly with clients to execute installation, service, repairs, and testing of equipment.
This role requires day-to-day travel as well as occasional overnight stays.
This role will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance, safety & performance testing, on production machines.
- Attending service breakdown call-out requests.
- Maintaining timely and accurate administrative records of all service work.
- Providing quality customer service to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in the training of fellow technicians where required.
About you
The right person will be able to demonstrate / have experience with:
- Bachelor of Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mechanical/Maintenance.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical/electronic aptitude
- Analytically minded with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel interstate
