On a range of varying, flexible DIDO rosters, we are seeking experienced Field Services Diesel Fitters to join our growing team on new and established projects initially across QLD and NSW (and in the future, nationally). About the Role
You will be responsible for providing ongoing maintenance and repairs to our diverse mobile heavy plant fleet to minimise downtime across our large-scale rural and remote projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mechanical servicing and support.
- Preventative maintenance, repairs, modifications and machinery overhaul
- Hydraulic and Electrical diagnostics.
- Component Changes: Engines ranging from light plant up to CAT 3412s, Transmissions, Differentials, Hydraulic pumps/cylinders and associated valving.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to work on: Graders (140-16M), Scrapers from (623 – 657), Dozers (D6 - D10), Loaders, Excavators, Articulated and On Highway Trucks and Fixed Plant.
- Support the Dalby Workshop when not on a project site.
About You
- You hold a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) with demonstrated experience;
- You have a valid, open Australian Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (White) Card;
- Experience and general knowledge of the construction industry, civil engineering and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards is highly regarded;
- Experience on DIDO/FIFO Rosters with willingness to work away on different project sites Australia-wide; and
- Good communication skills and proactive approach.
