Your new company
Your new company is the largest integrated construction materials supplier in Australia, supplying high quality surfacing solutions for a wide range of Australian road and construction projects - from local streets to highly complex infrastructure including freeways, highways, and airport runways. They are actively seeking a skilled mechanic to join their Field Service team based in Wacol for a short-term assignment.
Your new role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for executing maintenance and repairs on all mobile road surfacing equipment in the field and workshop. Working in a team of two, you will be travelling from the Wacol site in a Field Service truck with tools supplied. Arriving on site, you will be adhering to Boral’s workplace health and safety requirements while following instructions from the lead technician and site supervisors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Mechanical Trade Qualification – Light Vehicle Mechanic
- MR Licence (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Experience with hydraulics, mobile plant equipment (desirable)
