Coal Augering Services is seeking a Mechanic/Auger Support Crew member with a Mechanical trade to work in the Moranbah area. Description of Duties:
- Participate in scheduled maintenance activities, servicing, breakdowns and machine compliance requirements.
- Operat front end loaders to stockpile, load trucks, and move auxiliary equipment.
- Pre-start equipment inspections, cleaning, greasing & fuelling of equipment
- Roster is day shift only 7on, 7off.
- Accommodation and meals provided whilst on site.
Preferable Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Good understanding of mine site Compliance and Health & Safety Standards.
- Previous mine site experience is highly regarded.
- The work is outdoors on the open cut pit floor, and whilst the work is not strenuous, it does require an adequate level of fitness to meet the required fatigue management standards.
- Preferably live local or have the ability to drive in and out to site
Minimum Requisite Pre-Employment Competencies:
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Standard 11 Surface Induction
- Mechanical trade
- Competency RIIMPO304 Conduct Wheel Loader Operations (Desirable but not essential initially)
- Open Driver's Licence
