Field Service Team Manager – Sydney (Huntingwood), NSW or Melbourne (Westmeadows) VICWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced candidate to become a Field Service Team Manager.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of competent FSE’s including day-to-day coordination and operations, ensuring service excellence, and provide strong safety culture to the team and driving the team towards achieving and exceeding their goals.Location & TravelThis role could be situated in either of our offices in Huntingwood Sydney or Westmeadows Melbourne, however, country wide travel to support the team will be required.Key Responsibilities:
- Secure a strong QHSE culture within the team.
- Lead and manage the team giving the direction and ensuring that they are performing with a strong customer orientated mindset.
- Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports and secure a proper competence development by driving internal and external trainings.
- Manage basic performance issues within the team appropriately and quickly. Ensure that FSE’s with the correct skills utilized for relevant jobs.
- Conduct FSE’s employee reviews, include competence profile and skills matrix updates and performance development plans when it is required.
- Ensure effective communication with customers on job planning and coordination of jobs with the team.
- Ensure that the team are equipped with the right tools, PPE and conduct frequent audit on FSE’s UTE and tools condition.
- Ensure FSE tools are calibrated and documented.
- Collaborate with sales team and Service Operation management in service transformation initiatives.
- Cost effective management of team aligned with the approved budget for operation.
- Education background in Business / Engineering is preferred.
- Strong background in technical service delivery.
- 5 -10 year work experience in Service / Technical operations preferably in an MNC.
- Experience in leading and coordinating skilled Engineers / technicians.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
- Excellent analytical skill & problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Sound knowledge in Microsoft & ERP / CRM tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and effectively communicate with customers.
- Ideal candidate should possess an Australian Citizenship or Permanent residence.
