The Role
This position is highly valued within the business as it is the main point of contact in the field for our customers. As a Service Technician you will need to assist with the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of boiling and chilled/filtered water systems. Additional responsibilities include:
- Assist customers with technical support in their home/office
- Work throughout various local locations and occasionally remote sites
- Assembly and manufacturing of custom water filtration and treatment systems
- Customer Service telephone support and troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting using service manuals, computerised diagnostics & general experience
- Assist office team with service management, invoicing and paperwork (if required)
The Ideal Candidate
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent ‘hands on’ technical skills, effective in a fast-paced and varied environment. Our Service Technicians succeed when they are well organised, able to adapt and work independently whilst flexing strong communication skills.
All training Is provided upon commencement and apprentices (3rd/4th year) are welcome to apply.
Furthermore, you must possess:
- A positive attitude that is solutions focused
- Proficiency in working from various customer sites
- A trade qualification or appliance repair background (Preferred but not essential)
- Prior experience with refrigeration or electrical expertise is beneficial but not necessary
- Excellence at managing customers and being the key contact/face of the brand
- Strong organisational and task management skills
- A passion for fixing and helping customers!
