Job description
- Determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings using drawings and specifications
- Assembling machines and equipment and fitting/upgrading parts into product
- Attending customer sites to resolve breakdowns and to perform maintenance services as required
- Analyse customer systems and advise on automation and integration solutions
- Lead installation projects of equipment on customer sites, supervising Rhima and contractor labour
- Checking assembled machines for accuracy and operation using (precision) measuring instruments
- Using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal on large washing systems
- Installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines on large systems
- Controlling the operation of machines used to wash products
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling equipment
- Erecting machines and equipment on-site
- Carry out commissioning and validation tests according to Australian standards
