Proquip Rental and Sales is seeking to appoint a pro-active and highly organised Field Services Advisor to our Field Services Team.
The Field Services Team provides the highest levels of customer service to Proquips' clients post hire in the field and is essential to keeping our machines working to meet our customer needs.
The Field Service Advisor role provides high levels of support to the in-Field Services Team and assists the Field Service Manager to schedule and organise field service tasks. The role will be responsible for administration tasks, job scheduling, facilitating parts and resources and liaising with stakeholders and customers to ensure field service workflows are conducted safely, efficiently and meet Proquips’ high standard of after sales service.
Responsibilities include;
Promote a safety-first culture throughout the field service operation.
Promote a customer centred focus which delivers the right results every time.
Arrange in field maintenance events to ensure timely and efficient workflows that meet the needs of the customer
Review outstanding maintenance reports and assist with scheduling resources and parts ordering in conjunction with the Field Service Manager.
Monitor the asset telematics system (GPS) and set routine servicing frequency parameters.
o Monitor routine service reports.
o Schedule servicing and parts requirements.
o Conform to planned maintenance completion ratios.
Manage open work orders and close out once completed, maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of Field Services work.
Proactively manage customer charge out / damages work orders to ensure the smooth flow of invoicing within the Field services department
Issue purchase orders, monitor and request outstanding invoices for receiving and receipting and ensure that charges and invoicing are managed to ensure currency and timeliness
Action in-coming customer communications providing the highest levels of customer service to Proquip clients
Manage Field Service workflows to facilitate the break down response process from first contact to close out and invoicing
What you will bring to the role:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer facing, service co-ordination role
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to exceptional levels of customer service
- The ability to engage a variety of stakeholders and form productive and efficient working relationships with internal and external liaisons
- A basic mechanical knowledge or previous experience working in a mechanical environment
- Time management and planning knowledge.
- Demonstrated attention to following up suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and commitments are achieved.
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
