Field Supervisor

GAME Traffic & Contracting is a busy and dynamic business with over 200 staff working from numerous depots located across Central and North East Victoria and Southern NSW.

Our people are the most important part of our business, and we now have a newly created exciting role available as the Field Supervisor based in Wodonga, supporting our North East team from there.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on and administrative support to our North East Operations Manager.

This is a unique position which will provide our successful candidate with an opportunity to supervise our Traffic & Hire team members on work sites predominately with some work in the office as well. In addition, they will have an opportunity for growth and development in a supportive work environment.

This role will suit a team player who enjoys working in a busy environment, where every day brings new experiences and opportunities to learn new skills.  Due to the diversity of this role comprehensive on the job and external training will be provided to ensure that our new team member is set up for success.

Our successful candidate will complete a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Completing Traffic Management work independently or as a team leader
• Making deliveries and collection of Traffic and Hire equipment
• Ensuring that PPE/uniform guidelines are being strictly followed
• Assisting Traffic & Hire team members with work related enquires
• Data entry to ensure all information regarding staff, vehicles, equipment and customers is current and accurate
• Reviewing and processing work related forms relating to previous days works
• Assisting Manager and the Scheduling and Planning team to ensure appropriate staff and equipment are allocated to customer bookings, and all required documents are available for staff to complete works safely and to a high standard
• Assisting Manager to respond to customer queries
• Assisting the HR team to select and onboard new team members

Our successful candidate will possess: 

• Victorian Traffic tickets and a Construction/White card
• Current Driver’s Licence 
• Can do attitude towards hands-on support
• Ability to multi task and prioritise
• A strong focus on safety and customer service
• Proven experience in an administration role and/or comprehensive understanding of the Traffic Management or Civil Construction Industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to effectively pick up new software programs
• The ability to provide effective, confident and professional communication
• Proven time management, planning and organisational skills

Employment will be subject to a satisfactory Drug & Alcohol Screen and National Police Check and may also be subject to a Pre-Employment Medical.
