City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Field Supervisors to join our Community and Recreation team and lead a team to deliver maintenance and improvements within our sports fields, Parks and reserves. As a Field Supervisor you will demonstrate sound technical knowledge on horticultural and turf management practices, and plan and schedule tasks to achieve the efficient and productive utilising of resources whilst minimising inconvenience to public amenities during the execution of works. Bringing experience from similar roles, you will supervise and train employees, day labour, contractors and volunteers in all aspects of open space maintenance. Leading team meetings, toolbox talks and risk assessments, you will maintain the WHS of self, fellow workers and general public while promoting a positive team environment.
