About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist for a community paediatric role with an established non for profit in Western Sydney.
As a dedicated professional in our team, you will deliver person and family-centered intervention and support for children and young people with disabilities or developmental delays, operating across various settings such as homes, schools, community, and online platforms. Collaborating within a supportive environment, you'll contribute to goal-setting, strategy development, and implementation, empowering clients and families in areas of communication, speech, eating and drinking, and social skills.
The role offers opportunities for specialization in areas such as dysphagia and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). The position also involves facilitating group programs and supervision of junior clinicians and students. - Degree in Speech Pathology with SPA registration
- 2+ years experience
- Professional experience and strong commitment to working with children and young people
- Familiarity with person and family-centered, strength-based approaches
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
- Knowledge of inclusion, cultural sensitivities, and diverse community needs
- Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 (3 doses) or possess an accepted medical exemption certificate
- Current driver’s license and access to own car
