Integrity Industrial are looking for candidates to assist with a response project for an invasive pest, starting as soon as possible for a State Government department
Position: Field Officer
Start Date: Monday 8th July
Location: Karratha
Hours: 38 hours per week, weekdays 6:30am to 3pm
Rate: $43.50 per hour
Accommodation: Provided
Food: Provided
Roster: 2:1 roster, with 1 weekend away per swing
Additional Requirements: National Police Clearance (NPC), Medical Check, Current WA Drivers Licence
Advantageous: First Aid Certificate
Responsibilities:
- Survey vegetation and water sources for foraging bees.
- Maintain safety, resources and records
- Comply with incident plans, policies and procedures
- Conduct and report on field activities including surveillance, destruction, disposal, decontamination, vector control, and other tasks as required
- Comply with stakeholder inductions and policies
- Accurate record management and data entry, including photos
- Maintain biosecurity protocols
Position Criteria:
1. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
2. Experience in operating in accordance with organizational Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems.
3. Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).
4. Ability to understand and comply with instructions, procedures, and workplace systems.
5. Ability to perform tasks requiring strength, endurance, and adaptability in various settings, including extreme conditions.
6. Availability to work weekdays, 6:30am to 3pm.
