Solenis solves tough water treatment, process improvement and hygiene challenges for customers in consumer, industrial, institutional, food and beverage, and pool and spa water markets through people, experience and technology.

We are currently looking for a Field Technician: Instrument Trades Worker to join our team in Mount Isa, QLD.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Install, modify, maintain and repair complex electronic instruments and control systems, which involves a combination of electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles;
• Advise users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions and apply knowledge of mechatronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems;
• Examine, troubleshoot and test malfunctioning mechatronic machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults and adjust, repair or replace parts;
• Install electro-mechanical (mechatronic) instruments and control systems;
• Prepare technical reports, graphs, charts and provide presentations that summarize results;
• Responsible for set-up and maintenance of equipment and for the safe handling of equipment on test and repair sites.

To be considered you will need a relevant qualification to the occupation of Field Technician and at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience as a Field Technician.

This is a full time role, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $80,000 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidate depending on skills and experience.
