What you’ll do
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our MAX Field Technician team on a 9-month full-time, fixed term, Monday to Friday role.
You will be responsible for providing onsite remedial, preventative and project services on a wide range of electro-mechanical devices, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive customer relationships and excellent service delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software, hardware, and networks
- Installation, testing, and staging of electronic, data & communications equipment and systems within our Venues, Clubs and Pubs
- Perform non-technical incidental tasks (e.g. stock management)
- Ensure products and/or materials conform with established operational standards, manufacturer specifications and customer expectations
- Render technical support in accordance with the manufacturer or Company’s procedures and specifications
- Assist other Employees by skills sharing and the provision of assistance and advice
- Immediately resolves customer issues or escalates for resolution
- Ability to coordinate tasks in small project work at customer sites
- Efficiently prioritise and manage work schedules to achieve the best outcomes for both the customer and the business to achieve SLA Targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Accurately manage Company assets including spare parts in a timely manner
What you’ll bring
- Experience with network patching, routing, switching and VLANs,
- Experience with construction and deconstruction on Network/Server racks
- Skills or experience working with NBN internet technologies.
- Great if you have test and tag experience but if not, the ability to learn
- Communication skills, ability to work with various stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and complete assignments within the expected timeframe
- Ability to undertake the physical demands required of the role
- Integrity, respect, honesty and a can-do attitude
- Some travel may be required
Licences/Certification:
- Minimum Class C Driver's License
- Gaming licence(s) as required per State
