The exciting opportunities we are currently looking to fill:

Fly In Fly Out role (ex-Perth)

We have a 4-month contract role (with potential ongoing work)  to deliver onsite Occupational Hygiene Technician services on a 5:2 / 4:3 FIFO roster flying out of Perth, including:

• Collection of personal atmospheric and noise dosimetry samples 
• Collection of bulk asbestos samples as required
• Respiratory and hearing protection fit testing 
• Provision of training and education to teams
• Reporting and inspections 
• Analysis and provision of reports on contaminant samples in reference to WHS legislation 
• Completion of ad-hoc surveys (noise, real time dust monitoring)

Salary: $110k+ (+ superannuation)

The successful applicant will work on various mine sites in regional WA, but will be closely supported by our Biosymm team and our client's workforce.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in science or related field 
• Previous experience as an Occupational Hygiene Technician
• IFAP trained Surface Ventilation Technician / Officer
• Proficiency in quantitative RPD / HPD fit testing methods 
• Proficiency in spirometry (lung function) testing and results interpretation
• Mining experience preferable
• Available to start March / April
