JOB DESCRIPTION
As a FIFO Rig Chef with a focus on culinary excellence, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our food, customer service, and facilities to the highest of standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating a high-quality dining experience for those staying at our various Rig Camps across the Cooper Basin for our valued clients.
Commencing Mid-March 2024, this role is Fly in/ Fly out from Adelaide South Australia on a 2 weeks on-2 weeks off roster.
DUTIES INVOLVED
- Create and deliver high quality, nutritious, delicious meals that exceed expectations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
- Maintain and promote impeccable standards of cleanliness, organisation and comfort within camp facilities and adhering to HACCP guidelines and Food Safety Standards.
- Liaise and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth day to day running of our mobile camps.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & DOCUMENTS
- Nationally Recognised Trade Qualification with a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australian Qualification)
- A clean National Police Clearance valid within 6 months.
- Full unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- Current valid First Aid and CPR Certification (certified by a Nationally Recognised Training Provider)
- All successful candidates must be willing to undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test.
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Current RIIVEH201 & RIIVEH305 4WD Certificates
- ISI or DCGI Induction
- Any related Rig Inductions
- Relevant construction or mining certificates or cards
- Previous Rig Camp experience and/or working in remote environments
