We are currently offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Administrator to become part of our expanding Boral Asphalt team in Williamstown, VIC 3016.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is crucial for providing key support, overseeing the finance administrative requirements for the team.
Your day will involve:
- Efficiently complete month end processing within the allocated timelines
- Monitoring and adjusting day-to-day transactions
- Identifying and investigating any incorrect transactions and preventing future recurrence
- Using multiple accounting systems to evaluate costing between businesses
- Updating and distributing reports for various internal business stakeholders
- Engaging with internal business stakeholders to review existing processes and find improvements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Finance or similar.
- Experience in a similar Finance Administration role ideally within the civil contracting/construction/project management industries (or similar)
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Strong time management skills and the ability to resolve issues
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and see tasks through to completion
- Strong verbal and the written communications skills and numerical accuracy
