As a member of the Finance Team:

• Contribute to the development and application of policies, procedures and systems to support internal controls, taxation compliance and external financial reporting for the Department;
• Provide advice, analysis and technical support on contemporary financial management and processes; and
• Maintain effective relationships with Divisions and external stakeholders.

• The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.

  The following check is to be conducted:

  • Conviction check for Crimes involving Dishonesty.

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
• Eligible for membership of the CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or other professional accounting body.
