AddressIan Harrington Group (Roadways Group) is an iconic Tasmanian road surfacing company that has been in operation for 60 years and continues to deliver quality road solutions through our businesses including Roadways Surfacing, Statewide Linemarking, Protector Rail and Rockit Asphalting.
This position combines financial analysis, business performance monitoring, and business partnering to drive efficiency and profitability. Based in Glenorchy, you will work closely with the Group Finance Manager and other departments to analyse financial data, prepare reports, and offer strategic insights that align with the company's goals.
Key accountabilities:
- Prepare and review job performance and Divisional reporting and provide analysis and commentary on financial performance through engagement and partnering with Divisional Managers
- Ensure timely and accurate sales invoicing across the Roadways Group and follow up with customers on payment of invoices and actively managing aged receivables
- Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities within the business
About you:
- CA or CPA Qualified or working towards qualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis or a similar role
- Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship building within all levels of the organisation
- High level computer skills, including Microsoft suite and internal databases
- Experience in Greentree and / or MYOB desirable
- Ability to use critical thinking to understand and analyse problems and find solutions
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
