In your new senior position as Finance and Corporate Services Manager you will be a part of the senior leadership team within a very successful company. You will be responsible for delivering organisational vision, strategy, and company performance.
Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities are;
- Oversight of financial, legal, insurance, risk, office administration, governance, ICT and HR related aspects of the organisation.
- Oversight of the finance function including payroll, end of month reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and taxation.
- Accountable for the flow of financial information within the business including preparation of financial reports and insights and recommendations regarding business performance and strategy.
- Work with the CEO, Management Team and Board of Directors on financial processes, budgets and expenditure, ensuring sound financial governance.
- Be accountable for all Corporate Services functions including governance, ICT, HR, and supervision and management of office administration staff.
- Be accountable for Company ICT systems and platforms to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Ensure Company quality system is implemented, reviewed and maintained in accordance with ISO standards.
- Coordinate HR support services including recruitment, onboarding and compliance with national and local HR regulations. Ensure compliance with anti-discrimination laws, equal opportunity and workplace health and safety regulations, and ensure maintenance of standards for fair and ethical treatment of employees.
- Establish and maintain a legal framework, utilising external legal expertise where required, to ensure compliance with State and Commonwealth legislation and frameworks for all Company site operations.
- Ensure that Company’s contractual relationships with clients and suppliers properly consider the particulars of the legal framework in which they occur.
- Ensure Company’s insurances are current, fit for purpose and compliant with client contractual obligations where required.
- Manage ongoing implementation and maintenance of Company policies and procedures.
- A degree in Economics, Finance and/or Accounting with a strong commercial focus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience.
- Experience managing teams.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment under time pressure.
- Demonstrable experience in regulatory and legal compliance would be highly valued.
