This role represents a great opportunity to join a unique, digital tourism provider and design your own work arrangements. The team is largely remote so there is flexibility for you to work both from home and in the Brisbane corporate head office based in Fortitude Valley. No two days will be the same and this role will require you to provide a range of hands-on BAU and project support including bookkeeping, HR, administration, events and much more.
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the key components of this role will include:
- Providing hands-on accounting support including AP, AR, payroll, through to preparing end of month reports;
- Supporting the CEO with Board meeting preparation including agendas, packs, papers, filing and administrative tasks;
- Assisting with HR administration including preparing employment contracts, benchmarking salaries, policy development and onboarding;
- General Office Management responsibilities including purchasing, managing leases, insurances, vendor agreements and events;
- High level Administrative Support responsibilities for the Executive Leadership Team including travel, diary management, coordinating external PR and Comms. projects, and
- A range of ad hoc initiatives, improvement projects and other tasks as required.
You are a high achiever and either love supporting an (ELT) or are on track to be a high-level C-Suite professional yourself. You can demonstrate success in all of the role requirements and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
You enjoy book keeping, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy proactively automating and improving processes. You also enjoy supporting management make informed strategic decisions and working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholder groups and finding solutions.
On a personal level, you are highly organised, collaborative, hands-on and happy to work on a range of projects and initiatives that may fall outside your job scope.
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or similar is highly desirable, Cert 1V bookkeeping at a minimum.
Advanced level MS suite required.
