What does the role involve
This position is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, or Senior Management Accountant to join our team and drive a high-value Business Partnering function.
Reporting to the General Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, and working closely with the Chief Operations Officer you will partner with the Operations teams to support the delivery of the planning and forecasting processes by providing key stakeholders with accurate and timely accounting, reporting analysis, and commercial advice. You will also support them in streamlining inventory management, optimising financial performance, and enhancing overall operational efficiencies.
What we need in the role
The successful candidate will have experience working in the FMCG industry or similar manufacturing environments, and proven experience partnering with key business stakeholders in Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain. Exceptional communication skills, along with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and good attention to detail, are essential.

What responsibilities form part of this role?
Working within the Finance team as well as the broader business, key responsibilities will include:
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP) - Facilitate the Commercial Review process and engage with Business Partners across the organisation to improve forecast accuracy
- Financial and business analysis - Provide financial and business analysis to Business Partners to facilitate business decision-making
- Reporting, forecasting and budgeting - Produce accurate and timely reports and outlook and work with key stakeholders to improve forecasting and budgeting
- Management Reporting - Deliver accurate and timely management reporting and work closely with Business Partners to provide value-add
- Provide support for NPD and Gate Reviews
- Influence and set the financial inventory policy for the group
- Partner with the operations team to ensure the maintenance of Pronto data, including standard costs, BOMs, and work order closures.
- Support Operations in managing capital expenditure
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and projects

Specific skills/qualifications needed
We are looking for an outstanding candidate with the following skills and experience:
Qualifications required:
- Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting and membership of a recognised professional accounting organisation, ideally Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
Experience required will include:
- Minimum five years’ experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing environments
- Experience in the delivery and development of management reporting, operational budgeting and forecasting, including a sound understanding of the underlying frameworks and systems
- Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing financial system and process improvements, including change management
- Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Pronto or similar ERPs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work to tight deadlines
- Commitment to providing quality stakeholder service and satisfaction
