The Finance Business Partner serves as a key liaison between finance and business operations, operating strategically and operationally to align financial strategies with business objectives. Responsibilities include strategic financial planning, business improvement initiatives, financial health management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They collaborate with global shared services units, cross-functional teams, and global divisions while demonstrating strong technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills. Passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation is crucial in this role.

Your responsibilities:
- Based at either Brisbane of Gold Coast, the role includes but is not limited to:
- Business improvement and growth
- Project and initiative collaboration
- Reporting and compliance
- Preparation and presentation of month-end and annual results
- Preparation of budget and forecast
- Analysis and presentation of key performance metrics and drivers
- Manage and develop internal relationships
- Working with the operational finance team(s) to ensure there is adequate financial controls and the reporting is accurate and timely
- Work closely with operational leaders of the business to challenge decisions and help drive better commercial outcomes
- Partnering with the Operational leader to understand impacts of past performance as well as future trends to find new opportunities or enhance current business performance
Who you are:
- Business / Commerce - Accounting or Finance degree
- CA/CPA
- High level of commercial acumen
- 2+ Years working experience in a similar role
- Strong Business Partnering skills, managing, and influencing stakeholders, building relationships
- Advanced experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Power Bi
- Proven time management and organisational skills
