We are partnering with our key client to help them secure a Business Analyst who will work with key business teams to provide business analysis services to the Electrical Engineering discipline (power systems) within this organisation.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Change Manager and SME Engineer, you will be supporting the OTE environment's products, services and solutions with the following services:
- Requirements lifecycle Management;
- Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring;
- Process Modelling;
- Option papers / analysis & business casing; and
- Estimation & Financial Analysis to support business case submissions.
Your responsibilities:
- Work alongside various project teams to develop the Platform initiatives forming the annual Program of Work (PoW), including comprehensive Financial (cost vs benefits) analysis on Return of the Investment (ROI);
- Process analysis and mapping to capture changes and potentially new process flows, i.e. reviewing and updating core processes and procedures with a view to provide key efficiencies and streamlining of processes;
- Work with external users, project team members, business subject matter experts, Vendors and other agencies (as necessary) to gather business and technical requirements - and convert this information into actionable plans;
- Develop and document transition to support activities and artefacts;
- Support project team/s to successfully deliver the project/s using contemporary tools and applications;
- Ability to develop and deliver reports and presentations that clearly articulate the issues and proposed solutions, in a dynamic / changing environment;
- Provide input into project, schedule, reporting, quality, issues, risks and day to day project operational tasks; and
- Contribute towards management of stakeholder expectations and maintain stakeholder relations.
What you will bring:
- Demonstrated extensive experience knowledge of Business Analysis techniques to gather and convert business requirements into functional specifications for large and / or complex environment;
- Demonstrated extensive stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage with technical resources, senior execute team and external vendors / partners;
- Proven experience in drawing accurate and effective business process models and information / data models including 'as is' and 'to be' utilising appropriate notations;
- Ability to elicit business information from others, document and present it clearly articulating issues and proposed solutions, in a dynamic / changing environment; and
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written communication skills) with business and technical stakeholders, senior management and project team members.
What your background might look like:
- You will have experience and knowledge of the Energy Industry and exposure to an Operational Technology (OT) environment;
- Demonstrated experience working on projects leveraging a variety of development / delivery methodologies;
- Cloud and on-premise services exposure; and
- Understanding of Microsoft DevOps environment and tools.
