About the role:
The Financial Control Branch is responsible for the financial management of the Agency and Scheme, and provides insightful financial reporting to enable strategic decision making.
Key accountabilities include producing audited annual financial statements, the Annual Report, budgets, monthly financial reports and forecasts. The branch manage the maintenance and development of finance systems, analysing financial performance, and providing financial advice to support decision making and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. They provide financial reports and advice to support the business manage its group, division and branch level budgets.
Duties
- Sourcing relevant information from the enterprise data warehouse.
- Producing reports, interpreting data and analysing results using statistical techniques.
- Managing Scheme business and technical reporting including requirements, design, testing, training, and rollout.
- Sourcing, transforming and interpreting data into actionable metrics and insights.
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets and communicating how they can be utilised by key stakeholders with varied levels of data literacy.
