Our client is proudly Australian owned and operated making products and supplying services helping to promote sustainable outcomes for their clients and stakeholders. They are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join the team managing all aspects of the end-to-end finance function. You will be able to lead a Finance function and work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have respect for confidentiality and integrity as a core value.
RESPONISBILITIES
- Deliver the month-end reporting to a consistently high standard within pre-agreed timeframes.
- Undertake weekly reporting performance and KPI reporting.
- Perform cash flow analysis and reporting.
- Maintain and improve Financial Controls within the business whilst ensuring compliance.
- Lead the budgeting and re-forecasting processes as required.
- Act as the point of contact for all finance related matters.
- Provide analytical support and cost analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity and business improvement.
- Identify better/more efficient ways of working whilst maintaining the appropriate controls.
- Work with tax advisors on tax compliance and reporting.
- Lead the Annual Reporting and Audit process.
- Provide support as a ‘back up’ on payroll matters.
- Manage and develop AP function / employees.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Minimum of five years' experience as an accountant in a commercial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Strong aptitude for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience interacting with senior management and presenting financial information.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a business through strategic financial management.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
