We are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to drive business performance. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with other managers to establish and implement effective budgetary and accounting policies. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, investment strategy, expense control, and internal auditing. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization.
1. Budgetary and Accounting Strategies:
- Determine, implement, monitor, review, and evaluate budgetary and accounting strategies, policies, and plans in consultation with other managers.
- Develop and review budgetary and accounting policies to ensure compliance with financial laws.
- Conduct internal audits to maintain financial integrity.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide financial information and interpret the implications for business performance and funding needs.
- Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and create long-term profit forecasts to guide business decisions.
- Direct the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings and income.
3. Accounting Systems and Compliance:
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of accounting systems.
- Oversee accounting systems, monitor weekly expenses, and improve procedures for GST/IAS/BIAs submissions.
- Ensure compliance with financial legislation and standards.
4. Investment and Funding:
- Assess capital finance proposals and the financial status of operational projects.
- Advise on investment strategies, sources of funds, and the distribution of earnings.
- Recommend investment strategies and funding options to optimize financial performance.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Deliver long-range profit forecasts, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Manage detailed budgets and provide insights to enhance financial planning and decision-making.
6. Supervision and Staff Management:
- Supervise payroll and transaction reconciliation staff.
- Handle unexpected tasks and issues as they arise, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Skills & Qualifications required:
· Atleast a Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar
· Atleast 2-3 years in Financial Control, Planning and Strategy
- Strong analytical abilities for financial data analysis.
- Producing detailed financial reports and projections.
- Understanding and application of financial regulations.
- Skillful management of budgets and investment plans.
- Developing and upkeep of accounting systems.
- Supervising teams handling payroll and transaction reconciliation.
