About the role:
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing various financial and payroll tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Importing invoices and ensuring accuracy in processing payments.
- Handling follow-ups on outstanding invoices and managing payment plans.
- Reconciling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
- Assisting with month-end activities such as reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Collaborating with project managers to assist in forecasting tasks.
- Overseeing payroll functions, including superannuation, for a team of 30 on a weekly basis.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in financial data.
- Ability to recall information quickly, especially concerning supplier accounts and job-specific financial details.
- Comfortable with direct communication and capable of managing relationships with project managers in the construction sector.
- Experience working with Jobpac or similar construction management software.
- Construction Experience is highly regarded
- CPA/CA Qualified
