Archies Footwear is searching for a hands-on, commercial and collaborative Finance Manager to partner the CFO in establishing the accounting practices and reporting rhythm for a newly created in-house finance team.
As a senior leader, you will partner with Heads of departments and provide relevant management reporting that delivers valuable insight to drive profitable sales growth. In addition, you will be responsible for cash flow management, assisting the budget/forecasting process and managing the relationship with an outsourced transactional finance partner.
This role will suit a passionate, qualified senior financial/management accountant with strong attention to detail, looking to progress their career in a dynamic and rapidly growing Australian business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage the month end close process
- Prepare the monthly financial and management reporting suite including weekly KPIs
- Assisting with the budget/forecasting process
- Prepare and report on statutory compliance matters
- Provide financial and analytical partnership to the leadership team
- Identify operation and process improvement opportunities to deliver commercial efficiencies
- Develop and implement finance/administration policies and practices to improve governance
- Process a small fortnightly payroll
- Make meaningful impact with a rapidly growing Australian success story across global markets
- Work closely with an experienced CFO and wider leadership team to establish an in-house finance function
- Be a part of a connected, innovative and passionate team
- Evolve you commercial and financial leadership skills in this broad finance management role

- Established senior financial or management accounting experience with leadership aspirations
- CA/CPA qualified
- Excellent organisation, planning skills & professionalism to work in an authentic and ethical manner
- An eye for detail with the ability to think laterally in a commercial and strategic manner
- A proactive, solution orientated mindset that enables you to build relationship to influence positive outcomes
- Ability to think critically in a solution orientated manner to deliver objectives within a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with BI tools to enhance the reporting suite, highly advantageous
- Any experience working within Xero is highly regarded
