The Role
PLC is seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to join our College during a period of exciting growth. This role is a true “hands on” opportunity for someone to be at the helm of our financial operations, overseeing payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the College’s financial reporting.
Commencing early-to-mid July 2024, this is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a stable, leading school environment. The incumbent will be based onsite at our large, picturesque campus in Burwood, close to major arterials, with free onsite parking.
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Finance Manager will directly manage and complete key financial tasks, guiding and directing the activities of the Business Office staff.
You will also act as minute secretary to the Finance & Audit Subcommittee of the School Council, fostering important connections with school staff, parents and the wider community.
About You
We are seeking an individual with appropriate tertiary qualifications, and a CA or CPA certification (or equivalent).
You will have proven leadership experience in financial management, strong organisational skills to manage and streamline financial processes, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders within the school community.
You have a highly collaborative work style, with a proactive mindset, ready to contribute to and deliver on PLC’s strategic vision of providing outstanding educational outcomes for young women.
