Finance Manager

This renewable energy operator has significant operations across Australia with the opportunity to position itself as a global leader in green energy. The business is working on a significant number of complex infrastructure projects that will support rapid decarbonisation.

Position
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager – Transactional Services is responsible for facilitating the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. Responsibilities will include:

• managing a team of Accountants to ensure that transaction flows, accounting records, billings and payments are performed accurately.
• Prepare BAS and other statutory returns.
• Coordination of month end processing.
• Maintain analyses and reconciliations of all financial data and resolve queries.
• Ensure compliance with tax and other legislation and facilitate in the

preparation and lodgement of tax returns for the Group. * Review supplier payments, including review to the general ledger, and authorise online banking.

• Review bank account reconciliations.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller where required.

Profile
You will be CA / CPA Qualified with proven experience as a Finance Manager, managing a small team. Chartered experience within Audit / Business Services from the Big or a Mid Tier chartered firm would be preferred, however commercial experience as a finance manager will also be considered. Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and co-hesive team environment are essential.
