As the Finance Manager you will report directly into the Executive Team and manage a small team of finance administrators as the business continues through their period of growth. You will also have the opportunity to be an integral part of the executive team and provide financial insights to key stakeholders.
Your responsibilities as a Finance Manager will include but not be limited to:
- Coordination of strategic financial plan for the business Group and its management team including income, expense, insurance coverage, business objectives, risk tolerance and all other strategic elements
- Report and maintenance of: Cashflow, WIP spreadsheet, Business Summary, P&L, Balance sheet, End of project review, business performance - budget vs actual etc. for all projects
- Business forecasting and budgeting
- Liaise with external accounts, solicitors, auditors and insurance providers
- Perform KPI reviews
- Annual review and maintenance of business contract
- Home owners warranty insurance reporting
- BAS preparation
- Payroll
- AP / AR
About You
To be considered for the position of Finance Manager you will have:
- Substantial experience within a Finance Manager / Financial Controller position
- MUST have experience working in a construction business
- Proven experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills
- MYOB AND XERO experience ESSENTIAL
- MS Excel proficient
