This role is a full time position.
Main roles and responsibilities:
- Provide timely, efficient accounting and related financial services, including the preparation of monthly management reports and annual financial audit requirements/requests.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processing ensuring compliance with relevant accounting practices and statutory requirements.
- Support the company audit and risk management processes
- Oversee the company procurement activities in consultation with Executive team members
- Review, update and implement corporate policies and procedures
- Provide high-level and proactive support to our Management
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card management
- Payroll and Finance duties
- Liaise with clients where required
- Being proactive and willing to do a range of tasks across the office
- Proficient in Xero and other financial software
- Ability to support and provide information to the management team on financial processes and systems
- Up to date knowledge and compliance of relevant laws, regulations and acts.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple demands and priorities
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access) and Microsoft Windows
- Excellent communication skills and telephone skills.
- A sound knowledge of accounting and administration practices and ability to process basic day to day administration functions
- Strong Numerical Skills
- Methodical filing and office housekeeping skills
- Demonstrate skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate a high level of pro activity and initiative
