The Finance Manager which has becme avialble due to an internal promotion will be responsible for leading the Statutory Reporting function for an ASX listed services business. You will also be providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, and driving the development and implementation of financial strategies that will optimize business performance.
If you enjoy learning (you don’t need the experience already!) there are also some very exciting key projects to get your teeth into including debt refinancing and a number of new technology implementations.

The Job
Reporting to the the General Manager of Finance the Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Preparation and technical delivery of annual and half-year financial statements
- Cash flow monitoring
- Management of the audit process
- Compliance with statutory taxation and regulatory obligations
- Review and rebuild of the current models and processes, identifying potential risks, and areas for improvement
- Ad hoc projects and other duties as requested by the head of finance and CFO
- Coaching and development of team members
You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and a relevant qualification CA/CPA/CIMA would be ideal
- Good financial modelling skills
- At least 3 years of experience in statutory reporting and a background from audit or business services would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization
