- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.)
- Reconcile payments, sales, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable invoices.
- Bank reconciliations and preparing bank payments.
- Financially control bank/credit card accounts, accounts payable and receivables.
- Manage inventory valuation.
- Working closely with Procurement, Warehousing and Sales teams, review current processes and Implement Financial Controls where required.
- Liaise with suppliers about payment, payment allocations and overdue balances.
- BAS preparation and ATO submissions
- Ensure financial data confidentiality.
- Comply with statutory requirements and legislation, advising management on any necessary changes or actions.
- Manage coordination of IT 3rd party providers.
- Manage and control all insurance and license requirements.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Financing or similar.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Ability to generate accurate Accounting Reports.
- Experience with CIN7 (Inventory System) and Xero (or similar Accounting Software) is preferred but not essential.
- High competence in Excel and have a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Australian accounting and financial laws.
- Excellent communication & team skills.

- Experience in a retail store environment.
