Our client is a global Professional Services firm with a rapidly expanding presence globally and regionally. They have exciting plans for 2024 and are seeking a talented, ambitious and technical finance professional to join the finance team in Sydney.
Located in Sydney’s CBD in hi-tech modern offices, they offer a balanced culture of fun and hard work with the opportunity to work from home 3 days a week.
The RoleYou will report to a talented Finance Director, and focus on the following duties initially:
- Managing the GL and reconciliations process
- Management of month-end closing process
- Working with the projects team on process improvements
- Tax compliance
- Overseeing payroll function
- Contributing to the audit process
- Collaborating with the local finance team and overseas finance teams
To be considered for this Finance Manager role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Immediate availability
- CA or CPA qualified
- Preferably having begun your career in chartered (audit, business services or tax)
- Experience at a Senior Financial Accountant level or above within a commercial business
- Knowledge of Australian Tax standards
- Positive and upbeat personality
- Experience navigating system implementations is beneficial but not essential
