SalaryOur client is an established accounting firm seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in their continued success and growth. The position is well suited to a Chartered Accountant with experience in a management role and taxation.In this role, you will:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, including accurate and timely filing of various tax returns such as income tax, activity statements, and FBT returns.
- Conduct complex CGT calculations and ensure timely payment of clients' tax debts.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency for clients.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to identify proactive tax-saving opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative work culture, and managing a client ledger of up to $1 million while reviewing work from junior and outsourced staff.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CA qualification with over 5 years of tax accounting experience, preferably with proficiency in XPM and Xero.
- Tech-savvy individual with experience in various software, results-driven, fast learner, possessing strong communication, stakeholder management, collaborative, and analytical skills.
