The Langham, Melbourne is currently looking for a full-time Finance Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, your role will be responsible for managing the daily accounting function ensuring timely and accurate input for the reporting timetables.
This position is an integral part of a high performing hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel's ongoing success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare the Daily Revenue Report (DRR) on a daily basis. Ensuring the accuracy of the information contained in the report. Reports are to be distributed to designated colleagues within the hotel
- Complete the Spa Report on a daily basis. Ensuring the accuracy of the information contained in the report. Reports are to be distributed to designated colleagues within the hotel
- Complete the assigned Month End and Quarterly Reports (both soft and hard copies as applicable) by the designated times for distribution to designated Colleagues within the Hotel
- Complete the monthly Local Sales Office and Managing Director expenses. Complete Debit Notes as required.
- Communicate the fortnightly Tips transaction to F & B and Payroll.
- Adhoc projects as required
To be successful in this role you'll be advanced in using excel, possess a high attention to detail, and a proven aptitude for working with figures.
For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury hotel or similar environment
- Detailed knowledge of our Accounting systems: Sun System, Materials Control and previous use of Opera would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Works well under pressure in order to meet targets and deadlines
