Finance Officer
Part-time (15 hours per week, flexible)
40 school weeks plus 6 weeks non-term time
St Mark’s Lutheran School was established in 1982 by the St Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mount Barker to provide quality Christian education to our community. From small beginnings we have grown to a current enrolment of over 340 students, with two classes in each year level. We are grounded in the gospel and community minded.
We are seeking a Finance Officer with an acumen for working with numbers, the ability to multi-task and a professional attitude in relation to school matters.
You will take care of our Accounts Receivable (tuition fees) and Accounts Payable and end of month procedures, including bank reconciliations.
You will have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Excel. Experience working with PC Schools, or similar software will be a strong advantage.
You will work closely with our Business Manager, to provide timely and accurate financial records to assist our School Leadership, Finance Advisory Committee and ultimately our School Board.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check, Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect and adhere to the School's Child Protection Policy.
