The position
We welcome applications for a passionate and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our ELC Finance team.
As our Finance Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of financial functions across our ELCs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creditor Processing: Keeping our financial engine running smoothly by managing creditor transactions.
- End-of-month Financial Processes: Assisting with crucial financial tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- General Finance and Administrative Duties: Bringing your expertise to a variety of finance-related tasks as needed.
Your new workspace will be at our welcoming Kings Park office, where you’ll report directly to the ELC Accountant. You’ll also collaborate and work closely with the ELC Directors and the rest of the Sunrise Christian School Finance team, fostering positive relationships with all our key stakeholders.
We value your hard work and dedication, offering a pay rate aligned with the Non-Teaching Support Staff Grade 3 rate as per our Enterprise Agreement.

To be successful
We are looking for committed Christians who are active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian community.
It is expected that applicants will:
- Be committed to Christ and able to demonstrate strong and active involvement in their church community.
- Have previous experience in bank account reconciliation, and credit card and accounts payable processing and payment.
- Be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
- Be able to work autonomously once tasks are delegated and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide a current satisfactory Working With Children Check and a National Police Check, or be willing to obtain these, and have completed Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse & Neglect in Education & Care (RRHAN-EC) and Protective Practices training or be willing to complete these upon commencement.
