Finance Officer

We have a vacancy in our finance team as a Finance Officer, specialising in accounts receivable. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the financial well-being of our organisation by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial practices around the collection of monies and accounts receivable invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the CFO in ensuring finance is viewed positively by the operations team by enabling supportive working practices.
• Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable function, including invoicing and bank reconciliations for all entities in the Group.
• Prepare aged debtors and reconciliations to track outstanding payments and actively manage payment plans, repayment schedules, etc.
• Focus on streamlining and automation of current processes.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.

Skills:

• Ability to support work practices that promote a positive finance and operations relationship.
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or similar qualification. (Desirable) 
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role in a mid-sized organization (100+ employees). 
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. 
• High degree of interpersonal communication.
• Ability to be flexible and agile in a challenging and changing environment.
• High degree of problem-solving abilities and initiative.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience working with Xero. (Desirable)
