Assist the Direct-to-Consumer Sales & Marketing Teams for Samsung Electronics Australia in general to ensure marketing budget & expense management, forecasting & month-end process management, efficient business reporting and overall support on a daily basis. Overall responsibilities to ensure adherence to internal business processes, and commercial rigour across the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Month-End Process Management. Submission of annual forecasts for marketing investment, as well as rolling monthly forecast submission. Provide reconciliation advice, as well as variance reports for each submission.
- Marketing Budget and Payment Management. Submission of Plan Proposals (PP) for each related marketing activity in to the company’s ERP. Support the Sales & Marketing team on approvals of activities, and payment management of completed projects. Provide team leads with updated current budget positions, and support their effective budget management processes
- Sales Deduction Promotion Management. Liaise with the sales & product teams to maintain end-to-end Sales Deduction Promotion processes in a timely manner, according to the internal compliance policies. Understand the monthly promotion plans, and support system entry in to the company’s ERP
- Reporting Management. Provide regular reporting on overall financial position of marketing OPEX budget, as well as reconciliation of activities & variances to submitted budgets & plans
- Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel
- 2-3 years’ experience in management support, business operations and/or finance positions preferable
