The Strategic Finance Team at the Mackay Base Hospital are seeking applications for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
Provide support to the Manager, Management Accounting to ensure production of financial reporting services in a timely manner.
Assist with the preparation and analysis of reports on the budgetary position within Mackay Health Service District to ensure decision making at various levels of the organisation is based on current and accurate information.
Provide financial management and business support service for MHHS.
Ensure General Ledger Transactions are processed and reconciled in accordance with relevant Acts and Corporate Policy and District procedural guidelines.
About the Team
Finance Management consists of Financial Accounting, including Revenue, Assets and Management Accounting. The team provides routine and ad-hoc information, analysis and advice for various stakeholders such as the Executive, Service Directors, Business Managers and Clinicians.
