About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Operations Analyst to join our team based at our North Melbourne site.
This position plays a crucial role in the Finance Operations division, supporting the Operations Finance Business Partner to ensure financial compliance, control and accountability within our VIC, SA and WA operations.
Main responsibilities of this role include:
- Support the site operations team to deliver on functional and financial objectives
- Prepare forecasts and monitor actuals against budget and forecast
- Assist in the annual cost roll process for overhead and raw materials
- Review operational performance against financial goals and analyze KPIs
- Verify accuracy of inventory records, coordinating with supply chain teams to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure procedures are in place to accurately record production processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost monitoring for revenue and capex
About you
As a self-motivated and experienced Finance Operations Analyst, you will have an accounting background, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG background.
In addition to this you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CA or CPA qualification, or working towards
- Good understanding of manufacturing P&L, standard costing and recoveries
- High attention to detail
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new situations and shifting demands
- Ability to work under pressure
