We are seeking a Finance Secretary to assist the School Leadership team with a wide variety of financial tasks to support the financial operations of the school. Under the direction of the Business Manager, you will coordinate financial administration activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines.
Duties include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashier and banking duties, data entry, charges on school fees and enquiries.
Ideally, the preferred candidate will have previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
The successful applicant will demonstrate initiative, have strong attention to detail, be a skillful negotiator, with the ability to liaise with the school's clients with tact and empathy.
Additionally, we are seeking a person who is highly organised and able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion.
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and the Brisbane Catholic Education finance system, D365, is desirable.

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 29 hours per week - required to work Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 3:45pm
