About the role
This is a full-time permanent position based the MSS Group Northmead office, normal working hours 8 AM - 4 PM, flexible work arrangement or work from home available.
The Finance System Analyst reports to the CFO and works closely with the executive leadership team of MSS Group.
The primary focus on the Finance System Analyst position will be the responsibility for coordinating the groups accounting and taxation function, providing financial information to management and analysing accounting data to add value to the operations of MSS Group and drive the improvement of Pronto as an ERP and business intelligent tool.
The role will include conducting examinations of a company’s revenue, operations, expenses, and competition and providing stakeholder reporting on the company’s financial standing.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assisting with the on-going development of reports that present and monitor:
- Financial KPIs, ratios and performance
- Clinical KPIs and performance
- Commercial/ IT operational KPIs
- Cashflow management
- Monthly profit estimates
- Data integrity management
- Balance sheet consolidation
- Analyzing sales and COGS (Gross margins)
- Taxation reporting, incl BAS, FBT & GST
- Business optimisation initiative projects
A key part of this role will be presenting findings and providing advise to exec and senior management from various divisions across the group.
Qualifications and Experience
- Four or more years’ experience in an accounting / commercial analyst focused role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Pronto ERP, Cognos, and Cube Reporting & MS Office Suite preffered
- Experience in the Property, Facilities Management or Construction preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
