Join our dynamic National Finance team where the fusion of finance and technology drives the operational backbone of our company. As a Finance Systems Support Specialist, you'll be part of a versatile team responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of critical Finance Systems.
What will your typical day look like?
Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, the Finance Systems Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functionality of key financial applications. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to enhancing system functionality to meet evolving business needs.
Your daily responsibilities include active collaboration with stakeholders and end-users. As a Finance Systems Support Specialist, you'll troubleshoot system issues, maintain data integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement in financial systems and processes. Picture yourself ensuring operational efficiency, meeting strategic objectives, and delivering quality support to internal stakeholders.
About the team
Join our National Finance, Business Systems Operations (BSO) team-a close-knit group dedicated to supporting various finance facets, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance System support, and Business Intelligence reporting solutions. We're a team that values collaboration and encourages innovative thinking. . Our focus is on delivering seamless support and innovative solutions that propel the business forward.
Enough about us, let's talk about you.
You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
Minimum 4 years of experience with SAP software, specifically S4 HANA and Concur.
Strong background in system accounting with exposure to core finance functions.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel, Visio, and T-SQL.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting needs, and internal control procedures.
Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
Experience in system testing, including developing test scripts and liaising with development teams for issue resolution (desirable).
Demonstrated experience in administration and support within financial applications.
Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to identify, analyze, and implement solutions.
Experience in both project and BAU (Business as Usual) environments.
