For specific domestic or international region, is responsible for negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners. Works with sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts. Analyses contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements. Oversees preparation of contract proposals including technical engineering proposals, cost information, delivery commitments, facility requirements and patent considerations. Oversees ongoing review of incoming contracts for conformance to proposal. Ensures contingency clearance and conducts aged backlog review. Provide guidance to Contract Administrators. If international: Additionally understands international credit instruments, LC's, Performance Bonds, Stand By Guarantees Familiar with export regulations and forms; embargoed countries, denied parties Understands the complexity of import requirements and clearing customs Familiar with US Government Export Programs: EXIM Bank, US AID, Political Risk Insurance
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge: Accounting Principles. Proactive problem solver. Multi-tasker with sense of urgency. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
