Reporting to the Senior Finance manager, this will be a crucial role to the team whereby the main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Ensure the key deliverables in the financial control team are met
- Provide training and guidance to financial accountants
- Assist with preparation of statutory accounts and facilitate provision of audit
- Assist with preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast of balance sheet and cash flow for the group
- Provide support and accounting treatment advice on projects as required
- Provide analysis and advice to key stakeholders to support decision making
- CA or CPA Qualified in Australia
- Prior experience in similar role (min 5 years experience)
- Experience managing a team
- Experience in interpreting and communicating technical accounting issues under AIFRS
- Advanced communication and excel skills
- Thrive working under pressure with tight deadlines
