Nungalinya College is a Theological College for Indigenous people with a campus in Darwin in the Northern Territory.  Students travel in from remote communities to study by intensive.

The role is for a Finance Officer with payroll processing and basic HR duties. 

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

- A committed Christian believer and church member.

- Willingness to work sensitively and effectively within an environment that values Indigenous culture and Christian values.

- Minimum 5 + years' experience in a Bookkeeping role.

- Experience in Payroll and contracts as per relevant Awards.

- Good computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.

- Ability to work as part of an administration team.

- Flexibility and a quick learner.

Desirable -

- Qualifications in Bookkeeping.

- Experience in church and/or not-for-profit organisation.

Police Check and Ochre Card

All staff at Nungalinya are required to pass a Police Check and obtain an Ochre Card (for working with children). This is at the employee’s expense and must be applied for at the time of commencing work. 

If you cannot satisfactorily pass the Police Check and Ochre Card, you must discuss this with the College prior to commencing employment.
